Personal Childhood Web

I posted my personal childhood web to the right and realized there was no where for my colleagues to make comments!  So, here you go.

  1. Your comment about your mother friend, Kathy, reminds me of my mother. My mother was an honest person and she believed in telling you the truth. She did not want you to be mislead and I can appreciate that like you . Also, when you mentioned your brother Chris and the common sense this reminded me that my grandmother use to say it is better to have common sense even if you don't have book sense because a person with common sense will know how to survive. With your connection to Kathy, Terry, Louise, and Melaine it proves that extended family friends influence our lives just as immediate family.

  2. It sounds like Melanie was someone who helped you a lot through school. I find it wonderful that even though you no longer keep in touch with her, she was someone you would give credit to helping you be the person that you are today.

  3. How lucky you were as a child to have so many people that cared about you. These were truly people you could trust. Hearing about your neighbor, Terry made me smile. I also had a neighbor like her (Ms. Nameth). She was the only person I knew that treated me more like a small person rather than a child. Mrs. Nameth was outspoken and honest, but always in a kind way. She was forever saying "this is just a small part of who you are going to be".

  4. Again, I dont know why my post did not show. I dont think I was submitting the site word in the box. My comment wa that you have great support system and many people wish they had the type adult friend like Louise and a childhood friend like Melanie. Sometimes children are reluctant to telling their parents certain things because they are afraid; having an adult opinon about a situation is very good for a child to be able to do.
